Tight on space and designed to be on the road, travel trailer kitchens pose a few challenges. That’s why finding the right travel trailer kitchen accessories is critical!
From maximizing space to reliable performance, every item in your kitchen should work for you, not against you.
I’ve tested numerous kitchen products in my Sunray 109 Sport travel trailer and a lot of them left me frustrated, wishing I had found better solutions faster.
That’s why I compiled my list of must-have travel tailor kitchen accessories to help you secure the right products that work for your RV galley sooner rather than later.
Let’s dive right in!
What’s On Deck:
The 5 Best Travel Trailer Kitchen Accessories
Although this isn’t an exhaustive list, it covers the basics so you’re prepared to cook a great meal (and make cleanup a breeze) at any campsite without wasting valuable space in your travel trailer or camper.
Here are my 5 must-have kitchen accessories for RVs:
1. Swedish Dishcloths
If you’re scratching your head wondering what these are, don’t worry! I did the same thing when I first stumbled across Swedish Dishcloths six years ago.
These durable, compact powerhouses are your upgrade from traditional paper towels. They’re a crossover between a sponge and a paper towel, giving you improved absorbency in a thin sheet that can be used up to 200 times.
I have at least seven Swedish dishcloths in my travel trailer kitchen at all times.

Easy access to them helps me reduce the number of paper towels I use, which translates to packing fewer rolls, ensuring I have more space for more valuable items like jackets, emergency gear, or another pair of shoes.
When you’re packing a travel trailer or RV, every inch is coveted and with Swedish dishcloths, you can cut down on your paper waste without sacrificing performance or convenience!
Features & Benefits
- A more sustainable option compared to microfiber towels
- One Swedish dishcloth can replace up to 17 rolls of paper towels
- Each dishtowel is highly absorbent and can be refreshed by cleaning it in your washing machine or rinsing it with soap and hot water
- They save valuable space in your RV kitchen while reducing your waste
Tech Specs
- Reusable up to 200 times
- Crafted out of cellulose and cotton instead of plastic
- Absorb 15 times their weight in water
2. Carote Non-Stick Cookware with Removable Handles
Whoever invented cookware with removable handles was a downright genius!
Initially, when I bought my travel trailer, I packed existing pots and pans that I had in my kitchen.
Although this wasn’t the worst idea ever, standard pots and pans took up a lot of space since I couldn’t stack them — plus, the handles were awkward to pack in an efficient manner that prevented them from getting banged up while on the go.
After two or three trips using existing kitchen gear, I knew I needed to make a change. That’s when I found the Carote Non-Stick Cookware with Removeable Handles.

This sleek, aesthetically pleasing, and versatile cookware set solved all of my problems, which is why it’s in the number two spot on my list of must-have travel trailer kitchen accessories.
Not only did the 11-piece set include two removable handles, two silicone lids, and an 8” frying pan, but it also provided me with additional saucepans and a sauté pan, ensuring I had everything I needed to cook a fantastic campsite meal.
An unexpected bonus came in the form of fridge lids!
The two fridge lids quickly transform a frying pan or saucepan into tupperware-style storage. I find this addition supremely helpful. The lids nestle into the top of the pot or pan so stacking is easy too.
After using this cookware set for over a year now, I can confidently say that the handles are sturdy and easily support a full pot of water or a full-to-the-brim 4qt saute pan with no issues!

3. RV Cutting Board Sink Cover
As far as travel trailer kitchen accessories go, this RV cutting board sink cover is a no-brainer.

You can use it as a traditional cutting board for additional prep space. You can also use it as a serving tray to quickly transport prepped ingredients to your campsite table, making serving appetizers simple.

When it’s time to stow away, simply fold it up and tuck it neatly into a drawer or cupboard. Voilà! Instant space optimization.
