Finding clothes made from natural fibers is one thing. Finding them in plus sizes, with styles you actually want to wear, at prices that don’t make you question the purchase? That’s a different challenge. That’s why I started doing the research for you!

This list is a growing collection of brands offering options in natural or predominantly natural materials, from everyday basics and underwear to clothing you’ll actually want to build outfits around.

You shouldn’t have to choose between the fibers you feel good wearing and clothes that make you feel good in your body. And you definitely don’t need to overhaul your entire closet overnight.

Think of this as a resource to bookmark, explore, and come back to as the list grows.

What I Found While Researching These Brands

After digging through 39 natural-fiber brands, one thing became very clear—size inclusivity varies a lot from brand to brand. And “extended sizing” doesn’t always mean what you might expect.

Roughly two-thirds of the brands I looked at offer a genuinely extended plus range, generally reaching 2X–3X or larger. But the brands going significantly beyond that are still relatively few and far between.

A few of the standouts include:

• Wild & Pree which ranges from XS–10XL and lists measurements up to a 74-inch bust
• Maya Kern with skirts available through 8XL
• Shift + Wheeler which stocks through 7XL and also offers custom sizing
• Connally Goods which describes its sizing as “XS–PLUS–INFINITE” and offers made-to-measure pieces
• Old Linen Mill and House of Flint extend to 5XL–6XL, while SeamsFriendly and Pamut offer free custom sizing

At the same time, there are several brands that may look plus-inclusive at first glance but have more limited size ranges once you actually dig into the size charts.

Power of My People currently offers standard XS–XL sizing, while Linenfox tops out at XL. Lora Gene reaches approximately a UK 24/2X. In outdoor apparel, Toad&Co and prAna have select styles reaching 3X, but their full collections aren’t available in that range. PAKA has some seriously interesting natural-fiber outdoor pieces, particularly its alpaca apparel, but its current sizing doesn’t constitute a true extended-plus range.

The Biggest Gap: Outdoor Apparel

If you’re a plus-size hiker, camper, tennis player, or generally someone who wants to wear natural fibers while being active outside, this is where things get frustrating.

Outdoor and hiking apparel remains one of the thinnest categories when it comes to natural-fiber options in genuinely extended plus sizes. Technical outdoor brands tend to stop around XL or 2X, leaving very few options for people who want natural materials and functional outdoor clothing.

Toad&Co and prAna have some of the more defensible options in this space, although you’ll need to check individual styles rather than assuming their entire collections extend through 3X.

PAKA is another interesting option if you’re specifically looking for alpaca, but its current size range is not what I’d consider true extended-plus.

A Pattern I Kept Seeing

Not surprisingly, some of the most size-inclusive natural-fiber brands aren’t huge household names. They’re often small, independent, made-to-order, or custom-sizing studios like Shift + Wheeler, SeamsFriendly, Connally Goods, Pamut, and House of Flint.

Among more established names, Eileen Fisher and Ace & Jig stood out for offering relatively dependable plus-size options across natural-fiber collections.

That’s why this list goes beyond looking at the websites with the most recognizable brand. My goal is to continue updating this collection as I learn more, so stay tuned.

Sizing changes, so always check the current size chart and individual product listing before purchasing. This list will continue to evolve as I find more brands and verify more sizing information.

These are the pieces that actually carry a wardrobe — tees, tanks, joggers, the stuff you reach for on a Tuesday. Every brand here works in natural or low-toxic fibers (organic cotton, TENCEL, GOTS-certified cotton blends) instead of the polyester-heavy basics that dominate most plus-size racks.

A few of these brands extend to 5X and beyond, while others cap lower than their marketing implies, so I’ve noted exactly where each one’s size range actually stops, not where it claims to.

Statement Pieces

This is the “I need one really good dress” category. These natural-fiber pieces designed to be worn and noticed, not just worn out.

Think European flax linen, garment-dyed cotton, and small-batch construction over fast-fashion volume. These brands run a bit higher in price, but they’re also the ones most likely to hold up in a natural fiber over years, not seasons. A couple have limited plus ranges despite size-inclusive branding, so check the specific size notes before you fall in love with something.

Elevated Basics

Not quite “everyday,” not quite “statement.” This bucket is for the tee that’s a little too well-made to call a basic. These brands use organic cotton, linen, and deadstock fabric with more attention to drape, cut, and construction than your average basics label, often with made-to-measure or extended custom sizing built in.

If your closet leans toward color and pattern over quiet minimalism, this is your section. These brands work primarily in hand-block-printed or artist-designed cotton and cotton-viscose, not polyester dressed up to look interesting.

Several of these labels are also some of the widest-ranging plus-size brands in this entire directory, extending well past standard “extended sizing” into true 6X–10XL territory.

Indie/Linen Studios

“Indie/linen studio” is my term for the small, often one- or two-person operations that make linen garments to order rather than stocking pre-cut sizes off a rack. Because everything’s cut when you order it, these studios can offer free custom sizing that big brands can’t. No guessing your size off a chart. No “final sale” gamble.

The tradeoff is longer turnaround time and less instant gratification, but the fit payoff is real, especially if you’ve been burned by “one-size-fits-most” linen before.

Budget-Friendly Natural Fiber Brands

Non-toxic and natural-fiber clothing has a reputation for being expensive, and sometimes it is, but not always. This section is for the organic cotton and TENCEL basics that won’t wreck your budget to try. A couple of these brands don’t extend into true plus sizing yet, which I’ve flagged clearly, because “affordable” doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t come in your size.

Outdoor/Hiking Gear

Natural-fiber options for hiking and outdoor wear are harder to find in extended plus sizes. This is the thinnest category in the whole directory, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

Organic cotton, hemp, and alpaca fiber all perform well on trails, but most outdoor brands only extend their “inclusive” sizing to select styles rather than the full line. I’ve noted exactly which pieces actually deliver a 3X and which brands are still catching up.

Recommendations

If you want the surest fit at true plus (2X+), start here: For everyday natural-fiber staples, Ace & Jig (organic cotton) and Eileen Fisher (linen/merino/cotton) are the most dependable graded plus ranges from established labels. For maximum size range or fit certainty, go made-to-order: Wild & Pree (to 10XL), Maya Kern (skirts to 8XL), Shift + Wheeler (to 7XL + custom), Connally Goods (6X + made-to-measure), Pamut and SeamsFriendly (free custom sizing), House of Flint and Old Linen Mill (5XL–6XL linen).

For linen specifically: SeamsFriendly, Old Linen Mill, House of Flint, Pamut, and FLAX are the safest plus bets. Avoid relying on Linenfox, Lora Gene, or Rujuta Sheth if you need a confirmed 2X+ — they either cap at XL or have unverified plus claims.

For outdoor/hiking: This is the weakest category. Choose Toad&Co or prAna and filter to the specific styles offered in your size — don’t assume the whole catalog is inclusive. PAKA is worth it for alpaca performance layers only if you fit its narrower grid; treat it as a specialty layer, not a full plus wardrobe. Do not add Alder Apparel to a live directory until you confirm it is still trading (a 2026 outdoor-gear roundup reports it has closed).

Benchmarks that would change these picks: If a brand’s product-page size chart shows a top-size garment bust below ~52″, treat it as 2X-capped regardless of marketing. If PAKA, Toad&Co, or prAna publish a full-line 3X grid (not just select SKUs), promote them to first-choice for outdoor. For the “unable to verify” brands (Noble, House of Aya, and top-size for Conscious Clothing, Known Supply, And for Good, Vivid Linen), confirm the top size directly with the retailer before purchase.

Conclusion

This directory isn’t static, and I don’t want it to feel like one. Brand sizing changes constantly — a company that runs to 3X today might quietly shrink its range next season, or finally extend past XL after years of leaving plus bodies out. I’ll do my best to continually verify what’s here, but always check the current size chart before you buy!
